Bitty Sprouts

All of our infant teachers work very hard to build a warm and nurturing environment for our babies and families. Our classrooms are designed to mirror a family environment where they are able to safely explore and discover while fostering an “on demand” care and learning experiences.
Our infant rooms follow a 1 to 5 ratio with experienced teachers passionate about this age group. Developmental milestone we observe and encourage vary based on the specific age of your child. For example, a 3 month old might be working on and/or demonstrating their “social smile” milestone whereas a 10 month old would be working towards pushing themselves up and sitting up unassisted.

Please make sure ALL items are labeled with your child’s first and last name. Also, per the Health Department and our own requirements, if you are providing breast milk for your child’s bottles, they must be labeled with red electrical tape and your child’s first and last name.

Waddling Sprouts

Our Waddling Sprouts are at a critical stage of development, where they are more active, curious and mobile. Our teachers focus on giving each child space and opportunities to learn and develop in a safe environment, so they can begin building their own confidence and abilities. We encourage discovery and learning through hands-on experiences, more outside time and focus on building their early critical thinking skills.
Our Waddling rooms follow a 1 to 5 ratio with major developmental milestones including standing without help, walking without help and using at least 10 words. One of our core philosophy beliefs is that positive peer interactions are a great way to encourage developmental milestone achievement for this age group.

Toddling Sprouts

We love our toddlers! What a fantastic age. They are able to start differentiating between places (the store is not the same as a home or a park). Curiosity is at an all-time high for toddlers, as they learn what makes everything in the wonderful world around them tick. Our teachers are energetic, friendly and work non-stop with our toddlers at their own levels, while giving opportunities to begin potty training, leading them to answers through self-discovery and building their independence.
Our Toddling rooms follow a 1 to 7 ratio with major developmental milestones including talking and being understood, beginning to understand spacial differences, encouraging pretend play with their peers and asking for help. Our teachers use positive peer influence as a guiding principle and begin preparing them for preschool.

Busy Sprouts

Our preschool classrooms focus on preparing our young ones to be successful in pre-k, kindergarten and beyond. This age group starts to focus more on curriculum and getting our children ready for school academically, socially and emotionally. Small group time is extended, more field trips and their crafts/projects begin getting more complex and innovative. Children are encouraged to start working on letters and sounds, how to build sentences, getting along with peers and classroom behaviors, as well as continuing to develop their own self worth and confidence.
Our ratios for 3 year olds are 1 to 10 and our 4 and 5 year olds are at 1 to 12. Our teachers focus on building the core fundamentals that will help prepare our Busy Sprouts for school. Major developmental milestones we encourage and observe for this age group include leadership, handwriting, adding more details and specifics to stories and art, understanding shapes and counting objects.
